Bus and Light Rail Incentive Program

Get on the Right Track with an RT Bus & Light Rail

The TMA provides a $65 a month subsidy for regular commuters who use public transportation. First time riders will receive a $75 subsidy on a monthly pass. Click here for the Transit Pass Subsidy Policy. (Commute subsidies are only available to employees of McClellan Park tenants. Subsidies are not available to employees who already receive employer-provided subsidies.)

Service into McClellan Park

  • RT Bus Route 26 provides bus service into the East District of McClellan Park from Watt / I-80 Light Rail Station. Click here for the full route and schedule.
  • SmaRT Ride Service is expanding into McClellan Park. The fare for this service is included in the rider’s monthly transit pass. For information on how to use this on-demand transit service, visit SmaRT On Demand. Contact the TMA or visit SacRT for the service map. NOTE: Starting Jan. 2, 2025, SmaRT Ride is transitioning to SacRT Flex. You can read more here.
  • The TMA now offers Uber and Lyft service from your last transit stop to your McClellan Park destination. Click here for more information.

Getting Started

  • Click here to download the TMA Commuter Benefit Agreement.
  • Visit the TMA offices at 3140 Peacekeeper Way to get your RT Connect Card and bring:
    • Commuters Benefit Agreement filled out and signed
    • $25 for your first-time discounted monthly fare
      (cash, check, or money order payable to McClellan Park TMA)
  • The TMA will provide you with an RT Connect Card and instructions on how to set up your online account. Every month thereafter you will receive a $65 subsidy. You can do all of this from the convenience of your home or office through your online account.
